Spanish and English speakers learn from one another in Illinois

Several elementary schools in Naperville, Ill., have implemented dual-language learning programs, immersing English- and Spanish-speaking students into classes taught in both languages. Students might start as early as kindergarten learning a similar curriculum as state standards while gaining a strong emphasis in cultural diversity.
