Understanding mast cell tumors

Canine mast cell tumors can be small or large, painful or non-painful, variable colors, and pop up in different areas on the skin, earning the nickname "the great pretender," writes veterinarian Jennifer Scarlett. Some mast cell tumors can be cured with wide surgical excision while aggressive tumors may not respond to surgery and chemotherapy.
