Common-sense approaches to boosting mobile security

Enterprises are eagerly embracing mobile technology even though they lack the skills to adequately protect the platforms from malicious attack, according to the head of (ISC)2, a group that certifies security professionals. Hord Tipton says educating a new generation of security professionals is part of the solution but adds that some improvements require simple common-sense approaches, such as keeping software patches up-to-date and decreasing the time it takes to discover breaches.
