Mabus: Navy suffers from "arbitrary, unstrategic cuts"

Sequestration is nothing more than a series of "arbitrary, unstrategic cuts" that are keeping Navy ships from sailing, pilots from flying and aviation equipment from being properly maintained, said Navy Secretary Ray Mabus. "Already, ships are going to sea less, and pilots are flying less," said Mabus, speaking to a Aerospace Industries Association group in Washington, D.C.
