Marine Corps Reserve commander discusses force restructuring

Reservists in the Marine Corps will continue to have opportunities for missions in Central and South America and Africa, but some of the Reserve's more exotic training missions will be transferred to active-duty Marines as the Reserve undergoes a restructuring, says Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, the commanding general of the Marines Corps Forces Reserve. Sequestration so far has not had a significant effect on operations, but that will likely change in coming months, Mills says.
