The Wayne County Airport Authority will receive $12 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation to renovate the runway at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Mich. The announcement was made by Sens. Carl Levin and Debbie Stabenow, both D-Mich., and Michigan democratic Reps. John Dingell and John Conyers Jr. The project is part of a 10-year plan to upgrade the airport, which serves general aviation and cargo. "This funding is a continued investment in not only Willow Run Airport, but our entire area, to help protect and create jobs that our working families rely on," said Dingell.
