Pa. students to design uses for historical buildings

Students in the Westmoreland County Gifted Coalition in Pennsylvania are learning about architecture as part of the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation's 18th annual Architectural Design Challenge. Participating students will work in teams to create 3D models of what they envision for vacant spaces and underused buildings in a local suburb. Teams will present their plans to industry professionals and community planners.
