Pediatric hospital teams up with IBM to enhance care of critically ill patients

Boston Children's Hospital has partnered with IBM to develop a cloud-based education technology platform to promote the care of critically ill children worldwide. The OPENPediatrics platform provides information to physicians and nurses about the skills and knowledge they need to help patients in intensive care situations. The tool also allows users to exchange pediatric health data as well as view real-time videos that demonstrate best practices in treating children with serious conditions.
