Shutdown could stall homeland security contracts

A federal government shutdown may halt, scale back or terminate contracts the Department of Homeland Security has with vendors, the DHS has warned in a letter to suppliers. Other federal departments are likely to issue similar warnings to contractors, said Roger Waldron, the president of the Coalition for Government Procurement.
