Sprint has no immediate plans to join rival T-Mobile US in reducing its inventory of BlackBerry phones in its retail outlets, Chief Financial Officer Joe Euteneur said Thursday, adding the carrier would take a "wait-and-see" approach toward the struggling phone maker. He said BlackBerry phones remain popular with some business customers. Speaking at an analyst conference, Euteneur did agree with T-Mobile on one topic: He favored paring the competition to three providers to take on AT&T and Verizon Wireless. "When you get down to three comparable-sized players, you get much more effective competition," he said.
