Utah liquor commission issues just 2 club licenses

The Utah liquor commission on Tuesday awarded club licenses to just two businesses, leaving 11 businesses still waiting for a license that allows patrons to purchase drinks without also ordering food and does not require drinks to be prepared behind a Zion curtain. The scarcity of club licenses has driven several businesses to acquire seasonal permits that expire after one month.
