Hong Kong firm teams with Las Vegas Sands for hotel, mall

Hong Kong-based Far East Consortium International has teamed up with U.S. casino giant Las Vegas Sands to invest as much as $260 million in building a hotel and shopping mall complex in Macau. The complex, to have a gross floor area of 2.3 million square feet, is to include hotels, serviced apartments, retail outlets and a casino. The finalized plans are expected next month.
