Kentucky teachers march to protest higher health-care costs

Schools in 23 of the Kentucky's 176 districts closed yesterday, as thousands of teachers and state workers rallied to protest higher premiums for Gov. Ernie Fletcher's new health plan. Union leaders predicted more demonstrations between now and the Oct. 5 special session of the legislature the governor has called to address the insurance issue.
