Doctors oppose limits to medical costs

New Jersey doctors have asked a state appeals court to stop a new "medical fee schedule" from taking effect Monday. The schedule would cap fees that insurance companies have to pay out for covered medical expenses. Medical industry analysts say the caps could make some doctors unwilling to treat accident victims. Proponents of the measure say the caps could help bring New Jersey's auto insurance rates more in line with those in other states.
