PCMA speaks out against DEA e-prescribing program

The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association has sent a letter to the Drug Enforcement Administration concerning its proposed policy to allow e-prescribing of controlled substances. PCMA says it opposes the policy because it will not facilitate the adoption of e-prescribing and will impose extra, unnecessary work on physicians and pharmacists.
