Attorneys group wants to put more women on corporate boards

DirectWomen, an effort of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and women's business group Catalyst, has created the DirectWomen Board Institute to help prepare women lawyers for service on corporate boards. "Women are not good self-promoters," said Rebecca Wing, general counsel of PFG Best in Chicago and a member of the institute. "It's not our nature to toot our own horn."
