Opinion: Net neutrality places undue burden on ISPs

The Internet is doing just fine without government intervention, the Orange County (Calif.) Register writes in an editorial. The newspaper argues that the proposed rule changes would be far from "neutral" in that they would favor content creators over service providers. The major ISPs, such as AT&T and Verizon Communications, must be free to regulate access and deal with users who consume more than their share of bandwidth, the editorial says.
