Survey: Firms are failing to meet data-security standards

Smaller retailers are failing to comply with the Payment Card Industry's Data Security Standard, according to a survey of 560 U.S. and multinational organizations. According to the survey, 55% of respondents were only securing credit card data, leaving Social Security and license numbers vulnerable.
