Construction hiring gains momentum in 56 U.S. areas

The construction industry's job losses may be waning, according to a survey. Researchers found that hiring for the year until August increased in 56 of 337 metro areas. "More cities added construction jobs during the past year than at any point since September 2008, indicating that the worst of the industry's job losses may be over," according to a report by the Associated General Contractors of America.
