Moody's downgrades Anglo Irish debt to one step above junk rating

Moody's Investors Service has slashed the credit rating on Anglo Irish Bank's senior bonds three steps to Baa3, leaving the debt one level higher than junk status. The Irish government's guarantee backing the bonds is scheduled to expire Thursday.
