Vietnam faces rising rates of rabies fatalities:

Rabies cases resulting in death reportedly are increasing in Vietnam, which experts say can be attributed to a lack of public awareness about the disease's threat. Subscribers to a disease-outbreak website also blame rising rabies deaths on the fact that people in some parts of Vietnam are fond of eating dogs that have not been vaccinated against the disease.
