BLM is considering regulating fracking, official says

The Bureau of Land Management is "seriously considering" the regulation of hydraulic fracturing on federal properties following a recent report on the drilling technique and results from BLM-hosted public forums, said Larry Claypool, deputy director of Wyoming BLM. Fracking is currently allowed on federal land without restrictions, Claypool said.
