HHS program ups compensation in docs who adopt coordinated care

HHS unveiled Wednesday the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative meant to increase Medicare payments to physicians who incorporate a coordinated care model in their practice. The CMS will select five to seven health care markets that will be monitored over a four-year demonstration period that begins next year.
