HHS to raise Medicare fees to providers who adopt coordinated care

The HHS on Wednesday has unveiled the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative meant to increase Medicare payments to providers who incorporate a coordinated care model in their practice. The CMS will select five to seven health care markets that will be monitored over a four-year demonstration.
