Major phone makers sign up for Isis mobile wallet standard

The developing Isis mobile wallet network has signed on HTC, LG, Motorola Mobility, Research in Motion, Samsung and Sony Ericsson for its near-field communications standard. Isis is a venture of AT&T, T-Mobile USA and Verizon Wireless. Among the major phone makers who are moving in a different NFC direction are Apple and Nokia.
