W.Va. board ends therapy ruling on ABA in response to outcry

The West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists has rescinded an order that prevented the use of applied behavioral analysis unless a licensed psychologist was present. Parents of children with autism worried the rule would make it more difficult to get treatment, and a certified ABA analyst sued the board, saying the treatment was distinct from psychology.
