Tablets from Amazon, Samsung viable in education marketplace

The iPad could have some competition in schools from new tablets released by Amazon and Samsung. Both Amazon's 7-inch Kindle Fire 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet were praised by Consumer Reports, and with their new features and cost -- the Kindle is selling for $159 -- they are expected to make a dent in the education marketplace.
