Group reports finding cause of Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's disease may be treatable soon, according to a group of Australian and U.S. scientists. The researchers said they have identified the aging process that causes a build-up of amyloid-beta proteins, which cause Alzheimer's, a finding that suggests people pre-disposed to the disease could be treated to prevent its onset instead of the undergoing the current treatment, which aims to slow its progression.
