Philly union talks may extend past Thursday's deadline

Philadelphia School Reform Chairman James Nevels said he'll consider either launching round-the-clock negotiations or extending Thursday's deadline if the district and teachers' union are making sufficient progress in their contract talks. Union President Ted Kirsch says he'd prefer the 24/7 option more than further dragging out the negotiations.
