Agency continuing-ed programs "imperative" for industry's future

Several major agencies see training as being key to better preparing their workers for industry changes and attracting new talent, and have boosted their continuing educational offerings in 2008, according to a sampling of seven shops across four holding companies. "I really think it's imperative for the future of our industry in general that we make these kinds of investments so that we continue to attract new talent," said Gary Villani, VP, organizational development and human resources at Grey Group in New York.
