Report: Why W+K dumped Starbucks

Wieden + Kennedy chose to end its four-year relationship with Starbucks reportedly due to friction over the coffee company's tendency toward trying to micromanage the account and questioning the agency's tactics. Wieden did not comment for this article. Starbucks reportedly won't name a new agency of record, but instead is expected to work with shops on a project basis.
