Army Corps estimates Ohio city flood control at $107M

The Army Corps of Engineers estimates the cost to control flooding in the Blanchard River Watershed in Ohio could exceed $107 million. Preliminary flood control plans include a diversion channel, wetlands and detention ponds. In downtown Findlay, floodwalls would be constructed instead of levees to keep residences and businesses intact.
