Chains feel the pinch of higher meat prices

Restaurant chains including Wendy's/Arby's, Chili's and Applebee's may need to consider raising menu prices in the coming months, as prices for staples including beef, bacon, cheese and chicken increase. Some larger chains may be able to stave off higher chicken costs for a while, thanks to long-term contracts that locked in lower prices, analysts say.
