Fla. aims to increase adoptions of foster children with disabilities

A program in Florida is aimed at increasing the adoption rate of foster children with disabilities by providing financial assistance to adoptive parents for services and treatments that the children may need. Many families had been unable to adopt foster children with special needs who were in their care because once they exited the foster-care system, government assistance ended.
