Measure approved to increase Internet, mobile-phone accessibility

Congress passed legislation Tuesday that would make websites and cell phones more accessible to people with visual and hearing impairments. The 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act would require more accessibility features on mobile phones and closed-captioning of television programs offered on the Internet, among other things. The bill goes to President Barack Obama for his signature.
