New site will compile book of "Facebook generation"

A British entrepreneur is seeking to create a sort of high-school yearbook for the Internet called "One Million People." The project invites people to upload their photo to the site -- for a fee -- and the photos will be compiled in a book. The site is based on a similar Internet venture Alex Tew initiated when he was a student, called "Million Dollar Homepage." "The goal is to take a snapshot of the Facebook generation," Tew said of the new site. "It will be a timeless physical symbol of the social Web revolution and how [now] more than ever, we are all part of one global community."
