Planned research hub in S.D. aims to create disease-free animals

South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds has announced plans to establish a biotech research center designed to help develop disease-free animals. The center is expected to allow research firms to share technology necessary for biotech studies on production agriculture, and animal and human health, said an official with the Governor's Office of Economic Development.
