Federal lawmakers will likely oppose the Obama administration's proposed additional $100 fee on flights, because the extra costs would most likely only be passed on to consumers through ticket prices, according to columnist Kelly Phillips Erb. "It's not a battle that Obama really wants to fight in an election year when he's already targeting tax increases," Erb writes.
