Policy will allow Spanish version of common core math assessment

The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers has ratified a policy that will allow eight states to give math assessments in Spanish. More states say they need Spanish assessments as well, but some state laws forbid tests in other languages. Besides Spanish, some states say they need testing in other languages, such as Korean and Russian.
