Power firm unveils proposal for 465-mile-long oil, gas energy corridor

Allete, a Dutch power company, plans to develop an energy corridor in North Dakota and Minnesota. The corridor would contain several pipelines for natural gas, and provide for the transport of oil, electricity and water as well, the company said. It would be built along an existing 465-mile electrical transmission line -- where the company already owns the right of way.
