Spike app lets users make 3D models via smartphone

In-Q-Tel's new mobile application, Spike, lets users take a photo of an object up to 200 yards away, then measure it. The app also lets users map and make 3D models of the object -- and share it as well. Spike draws upon a laser device that attaches to the smartphone and also includes GPS, a compass and a camera.
