Link Medicine secures $40M for Alzheimer's drug trial

Link Medicine has raised an additional $40 million in venture capital to finance clinical trials of its drug candidate for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Despite problems in the U.S. financial markets, venture capitalists continue to show interest in companies that focus on "novel science in areas of high unmet need," Link CEO Adam Rosenberg said.
