World Trade Center rail station $500M over budget

Developers planned the World Trade Center rail station as a glittering steel and glass anchor to the memorial for Sept. 11. However, the rail station is now five years behind schedule and more than $500 million over budget. The hub's location in the middle of ground zero is affecting the progress of other projects on the site, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is expected to release a redesign of the hub this week.
