Apple offers look at products' emissions

Apple has added a life cycle impact section to its Web site that takes into account emissions from manufacturing, product use, transportation, facilities and recycling. The biggest culprit is product use, accounting for 53% of the emissions its products are responsible for, leading the company to focus on energy-efficiency measures.
