Cincinnati Bell taps Motorola for FTTH network

Cincinnati Bell will deploy Motorola optical-equipment and RF video-delivery tools to build fiber-based networks in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky, where the telecom will offer its "FiOptic" broadband and video services. The telecom will deploy the vendor's gigabit passive optical network technology in competing mainly against Time Warner Cable.
