EPA finds dangerous levels of acrolein in U.S. schools

The Environmental Protection Agency found traces of acrolein, a substance that was once used as a chemical weapon, at 15 schools in eight states, including California, New York and South Carolina. The acrolein levels at the schools are at least 100 times higher than normal, raising concerns about the health implications of prolonged exposure to the chemical.
