Group wants better access to Lower Manhattan

A group that represents businesses in Lower Manhattan wants the city to improve access to the area. Congested streets make access to businesses nearly impossible, according to members of the Alliance for Downtown New York. The alliance has proposed realigning Greenwich Street, cutting through a pedestrian plaza and creating a way to travel through the former World Trade Center site.
