New challenges keep Boston chef's head in the game

Barbara Lynch, a native of South Boston, describes herself as "the 'Good Will Hunting' of the restaurant world," pointing to her five successful Boston eateries, which gross $25 million a year, with new locations on the way. New projects keep her "excited and inspired," but she says she recognizes her limits. "At some point you have to let go and give up control -- you have to go home -- and that's hard."
