San Francisco to vote on Proposition D

In November, San Francisco residents can vote on Proposition D, which would provide an exception to the existing sign code and allow digital billboards on a two-block stretch of Market Street. The ordinance would allow signs of up to 500 square feet, and require up to 40% of the sign revenue to go to neighborhood youth programs and other community projects.
