Volcker blasts banks for taking trading risks

Former Federal Reserve Chief Paul Volcker, who serves on President Barack Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board, has not been able to contain his criticism of banks that have received government assistance yet continue to take trading risks. "It's risky enough lending money. They don't have to do a lot of trading on speculative reasons," Volcker said.
